John

Perrin

Project Manager

John brings a wealth of experience to the EHD team with over 10 years of experience in a wide range of projects – including multi-family housing, custom residential, tract housing, remodels, and ADUs. His ability to translate the client’s vision into a tangible design makes him a key component of our “boutique” residential design team. John’s creativity and understanding of client goals allows him to navigate the unique parameters and constraints of each project, enabling him to consistently deliver the highest quality results.

Outside of work, John has a passion for traveling and spending time with his family. Since 2007, he and his wife have regularly traveled to Europe, spending time appreciating the culture, food, and architecture. When John is not at his home in San Luis Obispo, California, he is spending time abroad at his second home in Bulgaria. Broadening his horizons has without a doubt influenced his personal philosophy in both life and design. It has also driven him to strengthen communication lines and workflow processes which allow him to work remotely while maintaining seamless collaboration with the rest of the team.

John grew up on the Central Coast and was inspired to study architecture at an early age. His appreciation for the built environment and its impact on our lives led John to earn his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly in 2009. He has deep roots in California, loves the great outdoors, and enjoys getting his hands dirty with his own DIY projects whenever he can -- including taking on a ground-up restoration, remodel, and addition of his current residence (all while he and his wife lived in an airstream with their two dogs and first baby on the way!). By serving as both architect and general contractor from start to finish, John demonstrated dedication and gained valuable experience.
